How should i go about asking my mommy to hold me tonight?

We sleep in the same room bc my room is being painted right now and i am a cutter so she has to be down stairs with me...She is usually irtable and falls asleep right away wen we go to bed and every time i ask her to do something for me its like im bothering her...I seriously need help please i miss her holdin me soo bad...plz help me plz
