Can boys have like their own little period type things..?

Ok so i was talking to my boyfriend the other day and we were having a nice conversation! We were holdin hands and telling each I love you and stuff and then all the sudden out of the blue he started yelling at me and sayin i didnt trust him enough to kiss him! He knows i have trust issues ever since my dad left and i dont want to be left heartbroken! It's true I haven't kissed him but i'm just nervous. He left after that and now we aren't talking. Again!! So is their like a medical thing for why? Like do boys have a period thing us girls don't know about??
