Why doesnt the U.S soccer team fire Bradley?

We have above average players and we have great players in Howard, Adu and Donovan but I dont think the problem was the players the problems was the sceme that Bradley had going on. Bradley should have been fired after the world cup and the gold cup was another testimony of how bad of a coach he is. I mean the U.S had a 2-0 lead why the F didnt bradley tell his players to take time off the clock?
